The weekend was spent in Sydney for my AFTRS graduation and catching up with friends. Not a whole lot of photography done, but I liked this shot, taken as I was heading back to the airport, waiting for the train at Macdonaldtown Station.
The PRA job continues. The end is in sight; My arm is killing me and more sleep is needed, but it’s looking awesome.

Very nicely designed video for the French band Justice. It’s an homage to late 1980’s, early 90’s high-end motion-graphics. Very authentic and a lot of fun. Found via ISO50.

Last year I started listening to a lot of lo-fi music, spurred on by José Gonzales and his debut, Veneer. That lead to the ultra-relaxed Kings of Convenience albums and Feist’s Let it Die. She’s got a beautiful voice – not unlike Australia’s Sarah Blasko, although less mellow. There’s some more up-beat songs on The Reminder than on her previous album, so you don’t want to completely doze off. Not that that’s a bad thing to doze off to some guitar, nice voices and songs about sweet nothings…
Updates have been slow lately as I’ve just started a job at the People’s Republic of Animation working as a texture artist and compositor on a TVC. It’s a great little place and I’ll definitely be posting some stills/video from the commercial when it’s done.
Also, this site has been updated to Wordpress 2.5 – a significant update for the blogging software, but it broke some things that I was using in my theme, so please excuse some strangeness if you notice any.
