Lomo Wanna-Be

-->

I’ve been following Scott Hanson’s (aka ISO50) blog for the past few weeks as he posts his photography from his trip around Asia. What I find really interesting about his photography is how heavily he post-processes the images giving them a expired film/lomo/retro aesthetic. They’re just amazing to look at, so I thought I’d try my hand at it…

2008 Reel and Site Updates

Surfacedetail.com finally gets a good update that more clearly separates the blog from the portfolio. More importantly, though, is the 2008 reel! Head on over to surfacedetail.com to check it out.

Summer “Break”

2007 wrapped up much like it started; lots of work to do in the time I had left before moving to another city. Back in Adelaide this year, I am enjoying absurd heat and water restrictions.

Some substantial updates to this site are coming soon as is a new showreel which is coming along quite nicely. Mostly structural changes more clearly defining the blog and portfolio aspects of the site. It hasn’t been all work and no play, though, and I managed to spend some time on the Yorke Peninsula. As usual, photos on flickr.

Work on The Red Kite continues as do a few other projects as the year starts ramping up again. Here’s to 2008!
