Dear Internet User,

YOUR WINNING NOTIFICATION FOR USING THE INTERNET.

And it goes on from there. A brilliant well thought-out scheme you’ve got there, boys!

Quiet on Set!

HDRI

Quick update for the week. Most of this week was taken up being on the set of one of the digi media masters projects. ‘Plastic’ (directed by Sandy Widynyata) is a live action film with heavy 2D and 3D visual effects where a woman discovers that she can mould her face and body. So, there will be a lot of 3D feature replacement, morphing, etc. I was the visual effects assistant for Macca (aka: Matthew Macareth) and for a couple of (slightly terrifying) hours, the VFX supervisor. Mostly it involved taking HDRI images (above), VFX notes, blue screen work, digital stills and waiting… and waiting… and waiting for lights to be set up.

But it looks awesome at this stage and the final should be really quite cool in the same vein as some Chris Cunnignham films, but a lot less… disturbing.

Other than that, things are good, but very busy with multiple projects at the moment. Might not post for a while.

Amy’s Hate Blog Updated!

-->

Amy has a hate blog where she vents about random crap. I’ve recently ripped this idea off and started my own and it’s good fun – I think that everyone should have a hate blog. Anyway, Amy’s is much funnier than mine and it’s just been updated with all new hates! Yay! See for yourself.

Will post more soon. Been busy.
